What is responsible gaming and why does it matter?

The core principles of responsible gaming
Keeping these six principles in mind will make gaming enjoyable at all times.
Set a budget
Before you start playing, decide how much money you can afford to spend. Only use an amount that, if lost, will not cause problems in your daily life. The minimum deposit at 499tk is just ৳100.
Manage your time
Spending long hours gaming can be harmful. Decide in advance how long you will play each day or each session. Take regular breaks and spend time with family and friends.
Gaming is entertainment only
Never think of gaming as a source of income. In every game, the chance of winning and losing is equal. After a loss, avoid placing bigger bets to try to recover what you lost.
Self-exclusion
If you feel that gaming is getting out of your control, use our self-exclusion tool. You can close your account for a set period or permanently.
Protection of minors
499tk is for players aged 21 and above only. Please make sure that minors cannot access this site on your device.
Seek support
If you experience any problems with gaming, do not hesitate — contact our 24/7 live chat. Our Bengali-speaking support team is always here for you.
Warning signs of problematic gaming
If you notice any of the following signs in yourself, consider seeking help right away:
- Spending more than your budget or borrowing money to play
- Returning repeatedly after a loss to try to recover it
- Feeling restless or anxious when you cannot stop gaming
- Prioritising gaming over family, friends, or work
- Lying to loved ones about your gaming
- Neglecting sleep, eating, or daily tasks
- Using gaming to relieve stress, depression, or loneliness
Simple tips for healthy gaming
Building these habits will keep gaming enjoyable at all times:
- Before playing, set aside a small portion of your monthly budget
- Take at least a 10-minute break every hour
- End a session once you have reached your winning target
- Do not play when you are tired or under stress
- Avoid gaming when consuming alcohol or medication
- Keep your gaming account password to yourself
- Make time for other hobbies and social activities
499tk protection tools
We provide these tools to keep your gaming experience safe.
Deposit limit
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately. A set waiting period applies if you want to raise the limit.
Time-out
If you want a temporary break, take a time-out from 24 hours up to 6 weeks. During this period you will not be able to log in to your account and no promotional emails will be sent to you.
Self-exclusion
Choose self-exclusion to close your account for a longer period or permanently. This protection can be applied for 6 months to 5 years, or permanently. A strict verification process must be followed to reactivate the account.
Gaming history
You can view your complete gaming history, deposit, and withdrawal records at any time. Analyse your spending patterns and make informed decisions.
